On the final weekend before the November 5th election, early voting centers across Southern California, including several in LA’s Koreatown, saw a steady stream of voters eager to cast their ballots in advance. The excitement for early voting was evident as Korean American voters and others made their way to polling locations to make their voices heard.

On the 3rd, at a mobile voting station set up by the LA County Registrar’s Office in the parking lot of the LA Korean Cultural Center, LA resident Lee Sun-hee and her daughter Lee Joo-eun celebrated with a “I voted” selfie after casting their votes, both smiling widely. The mobile voting station at the Korean Cultural Center will remain open through the 4th.
