IRVINE, Calif. – December 1, 2025 – Kia America announced November sales of 72,002 units, a 3% increase over the same month last year and the strongest November performance in company history. Year-to-date sales rose 7% to 777,152 units. With this continued strong momentum, Kia is on track to record its third consecutive year of record annual sales.

Standout performers in November included the Carnival MPV (+49%), which set a new all-time monthly sales record, while the Sportage (+12%) and Seltos (+23%) posted their best November ever. On a year-to-date basis, five models achieved significant growth: K5 (+64%), Carnival (+46%), Sportage (+13%), Telluride (+8%), and Sorento (+2%). Electrified models rose 25%, sedans increased 14%, and SUVs climbed 6%, demonstrating the strength and breadth of Kia’s lineup.



“Kia’s outstanding sales performance is driven by our diverse portfolio of award-winning SUVs and sedans combined with a powertrain strategy that spans internal combustion, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles,” said Eric Watson, vice president, sales operations, Kia America. “We are on the verge of achieving a third straight year of record sales. At the recent Los Angeles Auto Show, we unveiled the significantly enhanced second-generation Telluride. The new model introduces an even more capable X-Pro off-road variant and a new hybrid powertrain, earning rave reviews for delivering both performance and efficiency. Interest in the all-new Telluride is expanding beyond existing customers to entirely new buyer segments, and we expect this positive momentum to continue into next year.”

Along with the November sales results, Kia America shared additional updates:At the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, Kia unveiled the next-generation 2027 Telluride SUV. The second-generation flagship offers increased overall length, greater interior and cargo space, and a host of premium features for enhanced comfort. It is available with a turbocharged powertrain or a new turbo-hybrid option producing up to 329 horsepower, with an estimated combined 35 mpg.
IONNA, the EV charging alliance in which Hyundai Motor Group and other major automakers participate, announced plans to invest $250 million over the next three years to expand charging infrastructure across California.
The 2026 Sportage SUV earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) highest rating of Top Safety Pick+ (TSP+). The rating applies to 2026 Sportage models built after May 2025.
